Mon cousin, Bernard Tissier de Mallerais (2ème fils de Colette, soeur de René Goussault) a rédigé un arbre généalogique de la famille qui fait 150 pages, dont les Goussault évidemment. J'en ai tiré quelques grands traits.
Notre famille Goussault est originaire du Blèsois (région de Blois, Loire et Cher), exactement de Maslives, jadis en la paroisse de Saint Dyé s/Loire, située entre Ménars et Mer sur la rive Sud de la Loire et qui fut au XVI et XVII siècle le port de Chambord. La paroisse de Saint Dyé fut divisée en 1650 par la création de la paroisse de Maslives. Les premiers registres de baptêmes de Saint Dyé sont heureusement plus anciens mais n'indiquent pas toujours le nom de famille des épouses et mères... De plus, les minutes notariales ont toutes été brûlées pendant la dernière guerre par le notaire pour se chauffer.
Il y a eu deux branches chez les Goussault, les "pauvres", restés vignerons de père en fils jusqu'au XIX à Maslives (c'est notre branche), et les "riches" qui s'installèrent à Housseau et Vineuil (où il y en a encore) et qui fit fortune (on ne dit pas comment).

Puis successivement Jacque (né en 1632), Jacques (1642-1690), Jacques (1699-1757), Pierre (1752-1830), Georges Alexandre (1814-1873) le dernier vigneron mort à Vineuil, puis Théodore Rémy, 1828 - mort à St Pierre en Port en 1898, Officier d'Intendance, a fait les campagnes de Kabylie, Italie, Algérie, Mexique (où il a été blessé 2 fois - une fois à la cuisse gauche, la 2ème fois à l'improviste disait Papa) et enfin la France (1870). En garnison à Varennes en Argonne, épouse la fille de la patronne de l'hotel où il réside (était-ce l'hotel du Monarque où Louis XVI fut arrêté?).
Rémy a eu trois fils, Florent Georges, Maurice et Raymond (mort au champ d'honneur le 4/04 1915 au 67è R.I., bataillon disciplinaire où il avait été mobilisé parce qu'il était un mauvais sujet; il avait fait faillite, un avoué à Fontainebleau, et il vivait dans le péché avec une demoiselle Klein (une juive avec un nom comme çà - c'est moi qui le dit).
Florent Georges Goussault, 1869-1952, Polytechnique puis Inspection des Finances, Directeur Financier de ce qui était la SNCF à l'époque, épouse Marie Le Soudier (1875-1976), fille de Edmont J.B. Le Soudier, avocat au Conseil d'Etat et à la Cour de Cassation, Conseiller Général de la Manche.
Voilà le principal mais il y a plein de détails pour ceux que çà intéresse....
Il y a d'autres Goussault en France, sur la paroisse de Corzé, près d'Angers, reconnus dès 1444; des Goussault au Mans, connus dès 1600 ( à ne pas confondre avec la descendance de Maurice, le frère de Georges et qui s'est établi aussi au Mans), des Goussault à Buzançais, Indre, mais devenus parigots, enfin une famille de parigots aussi, au XVII et XVIII siècles.
Dernier point pour ceux que tente l'héraldique: les armes de la famille étaient: tiercé en fasce de sinople, d'hermine et d'azur
